Kaapi Ingredients is focused on transforming Brazilian aromatic plants into amazing fragrance ingredients to the world.

About us

Kaapi Ingredients aromatic plants’ essential oils

from Brazilian biodiversity. The company follows the highest quality standards, respecting biodiversity and promoting social development.

Products such as Copaiba balsam and Tonka beans are harvested directly from the forest, respecting the cycles of nature. It may take as long as three years for the same tree to be exploited again and this respect towards the ecosystem, in turn, makes each product unique. In addition to the native species, Kaapi also works with exotic plants, such as the eucalyptus citriodora, citronella and black-pepper, obtained in sustainable planting areas.

Kaapi Ingredients’ production chain was structured in order to value family farming and the socio-economic stability of the local people. Therefore, it relies on both wild plant harvesting communities and small and medium-sized farmers. The company cares about the origin of its products and, consequently, invests in the traceability of the process.

In order to provide and keep its high-quality standard, Kaapi employs modern analytical techniques and constantly invests in research and development.

Due to the commitment to the continuous improvement of its processes, Kaapi is ISO 9001 certified.

In 2020, the company completed the construction of an essential oil distillery in the municipality of Itacoatiara – AM, which is a strategic location for Kaapi’s businesses, favoring sustainability, logistics and actions for environmental preservation and restoration.
